Mental Health Support Built Around Real People

Walk. Talk. Heal. Together.

WalknTalk is a community mental health and wellbeing support group bringing people together through walks, Brew & Chat sessions, activities and genuine human connection.

There are no referrals, no pressure to speak and no expectation to explain yourself. Whether you're struggling with your mental health, feeling isolated, going through a difficult time or simply need somewhere you can belong, you're welcome.

We believe support should feel human, accessible and part of everyday community life.

OUR STORY

WalknTalk started with one simple idea: nobody should have to struggle alone.

Founded in South Wales, WalknTalk began as a way of bringing people together through walking, talking and genuine connection.

What started as a local mental health support group has grown into a wider community offering regular walks, Brew & Chat sessions, wellbeing activities and peer support across different areas.

We know that asking for help is not always easy. That is why WalknTalk is designed to feel different. There are no referrals, no clinical atmosphere and no pressure to speak.

You can walk with us.
Have a coffee.
Meet new people.
Talk about what you are going through.
Or simply be around people who understand.

WHAT WE DO

COMMUNITY WALKS
Friendly, relaxed walks where people can get outside, meet others and talk at their own pace.

BREW & CHAT
Informal sessions where you can have a cuppa, meet people and talk without judgement or pressure.

WELLBEING ACTIVITIES
Activities, workshops and community opportunities designed to support confidence, connection and wellbeing.

PEER SUPPORT & SIGNPOSTING
We listen, offer peer support and help people find appropriate local services when they need additional help.

Support doesn’t have to happen in a clinical room. Sometimes it starts with a walk, a brew and someone willing to listen.

OUR VALUES

NO JUDGEMENT
Everyone deserves somewhere they can be themselves without fear of being judged.

NO PRESSURE
You never have to talk before you are ready. Sometimes simply being there is enough.

EVERYONE MATTERS
Mental health affects people from every background. Our community is built around inclusion, respect and kindness.

COMMUNITY FIRST
We believe stronger connections create stronger communities. Support should be accessible, local and human.

You don’t have to be in crisis to deserve support.

WHERE WE’RE GOING

Founded in South Wales. Built for communities everywhere.

WalknTalk was founded in South Wales, where our community continues to grow through walks, Brew & Chat sessions, wellbeing activities and peer support.

Our vision goes much further.

As WalknTalk develops, we want to carefully expand into more communities across Wales, followed by England, Scotland and Ireland when the time is right.

We won’t grow simply for the sake of becoming bigger. Every new WalknTalk community should have the right people, training, safeguarding, local relationships and support in place before it launches.

One community at a time. One conversation at a time.

OUR VISION

A future where nobody feels they have to face poor mental health alone.

WalknTalk wants to build stronger, more connected communities where people can access support before they reach crisis.

Our long-term vision is to create a network of welcoming WalknTalk communities, supported by trained volunteers, trusted partnerships and opportunities for people to connect through walking, conversation and shared experiences.

Walk Together. Talk Together. Heal Together.
